"2016 Land Rover"

Best dealer hands down. I purchased a 2016 Land Rover Discovery in June 2020. I also purchased a warranty from an independent company at the dealership. In September 2020 the vehicle began having issues with the heat/A/C and was rejecting fuel. I contacted the warranty company (who has no direct affiliation with Fairfax Motors) about the issues. Without going into lengthy detail, the warranty company denied my repair claim that was estimated over $5600. I contacted John at Fairfax Motors in a complete panic. John personally went to bat for me with the warranty company. After many rounds John contacted me to bring my vehicle back to him. He gave me a loaner for free and personally arranged all of the repairs at his facility. Because of it being a Land Rover the parts are pricy and not easily obtained. I dropped my vehicle off approximately the 3rd week of October and it was finally complete on December 9th due to difficulties obtaining parts. John had my vehicle filled up with gas and washed when I arrived. John went above and beyond for me as a customer even though the repairs were technically not his responsibility. I live 2 1/2 away in WV. I am an RN who is currently working the Covid unit at my hospital. As you can imagine these are trying times for me and that last thing I needed on my plate was a $5600 repair. John even called me on December 10th with a courtesy call to make sure I made it home safely and that the vehicle was working as it should. I can not put in to words the sincere gratitude for John and Fairfax motors for taking such great care of me and my repairs. John did not charge me a dime. I HIGHLY recommend this dealer to everyone. This is what an honest business does for their customers. I will absolutely purchase my next vehicle from John at Fairfax Motors.

"Super Helpful and Honest"

I recently was in a fender bender and Fairfax Motors was the first business I called. I was referred to Fairfax Motors by my dad, who has interacted with the dealership in the past.  He told me I had to go to Andy (the owner).  I was not let down.  Andy was honest with the estimate for my car, which was notably cheaper than a second opinion I got.  I also was having a problem with my tire, and he gave me helpful advise about how to fix it without me having to ask.

When the car was returned to me, it looked like they had replaced my whole bumper (which they didn't).  None of the previous damage was visible.  All of the repairs were done in a timely manner and I had my car back in no time.  

Four of my family members have bought cars from the dealership. They have never had any problems with any of their cars and I know that they never had any problems with the dealership or the employees.  From my experience and their testimony, I know I can safely say that they are honest, reliable, loyal, and fair in their dealings with all of their cars and customers.  It's unfortunate to see the poor (and old) reviews below because myself and my family members have never experienced that.  I will be back the next time I need something fixed with my car.

Pauline, Ed and John were great. The vehicle I purchased from them had some issues that should have been covered under the extended warranty that I also bought from Fairfax Motors at time of sale. However, there was a problem with the warranty coverage in that it was mistakenly approved and was not intended to cover my vehicle, which is a diesel. John not only undertook the repairs to my vehicle at no cost to me, but he provided me with a loaner vehicle during this time as well. Further, he had the owner of the company enforce my extended warranty with the warranty company so that I now have the full coverage for which I contracted. Pauline, Ed and John were professional and responsive throughout this experience, which made buying a vehicle from them so much more than just their great selection and competitive pricing. At Fairfax Motors they truly care about their customers. It is for this reason that they have my highest recommendation.

"1995 Jeep Wrangler"

Several weeks ago I began a search for a dream vehicle. I have always enjoyed the idea of bouncing through the countryside in a Jeep Wrangler.
I paged through CL and Ebay and the local rags- generally hoping to avoid a dealership. Lo and behold, I came upon what I thought would be the perfect vehicle at a very good price. It just happened to be represented by Fairfax Motors. I simply dreaded the prospect of slogging through back-and-forths between a slick willy salesperson and their manager.
Well, I was dead wrong.
I emailed a question or two and quickly received a call from Pauline regarding the vehicle and my interests. She, who has obviously been a professional in this field long enough to know what to do and say, gave me the lowdown and a bottom line price right up front. Pauline was succinct, knowledgeable, precise, and courteous. She invited me to come and see the vehicle.
What I thought was luck in finding one good contact that would run out once I hit the lot was, in fact, the modus operandi for the entire establishment. Pauline introduced me to Rebecca who shared a conversation about my interests and experience buying vehicles. Both listened and added suggestions as appropriate.
After a test drive we agreed on a price and time for the sale. No pressure, no demands for monetary commitment, no hassles. They had what I wanted and were willing to work with me so I could purchase it. No fuss, no muss.
Although the vehicle required a service, the company accommodated me in many ways. Fairfax Motors sealed their reputation (with me) by comping the repair costs and delivering my new Jeep to my workplace (clean and shiny, to boot).

Having never owned a new car in my life, I have been around a lot of "used car" folks (private and dealer).
